This Request for Information (RFI) is intended for information and planning purposes only at this time; and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs. Because this is a Request for Information announcement, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the respondents.

No solicitation exists. Therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4 Network Contracting Office (NCO 4), Wilmington is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of meeting the following minimum requirements and salient characteristics below for the 626 Midmark Barrier-Free Exam Table.

1.Contract Title Midmark 626 Barrier Free Exam Chair
2.Background. With the new Primary Care PACT, one (1) exam table is needed to fill the new exam room (1232) in Wilmington- Primary Care. The Teams has a tentative start date of January 1, 2023; with an equipment delivery date of January 09, 2023 on all items.
3. Salient Characteristics

This is not a Request for Quote/Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for consideration.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113 and the small business size standard is 750 employees.

This RFI will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8. Responses must be received via e-mail to Sherrie.Thompson2@va.gov no later than, 5 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on December 5, 2022. This notice will help the VA in determining available potential sources only. Reference 36C24423Q0172 in the subject of the email response.

Do not contact VA Medical Center staff regarding this requirement, as they are not authorized to discuss this matter related to this procurement action. All questions will be addressed by the Contracting Specialist, Sherrie Thompson.

All firms responding to this Request for Information are advised that their response is not a request for proposal, therefore will not be considered for a contract award.

If a solicitation is issued, information will be posted on the beta.Sam website for all qualified interested parties at a later date and interested parties must respond to this Sources Sought Notice to be considered for a set-aside. This notice does not commit the government to contract for any supplies or services. The government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Request for Information (RFI).
