GENERAL: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilmington, DE; Sterile Processing Services (SPS) has determined a critical need to Sterile Instrument Pack Storage system to store critical and semi-critical Reusable Medical Equipment (RME).
This is a Brand Name Only requirement for a Pegasus Medical Concepts

Hygieia Sterile Instrument Pack Storage System with the following features:

A completely sealed and cleanable aluminum racking system. A sealed system eliminates holes within the structure of the frames and creates a completely sealable surface. Frames shall be constructed from 1.25 thickness square.
100% Modularity. System that provides reconfiguration of basket and shelf levels without the use of a tool.
Rails that can be pulled out to the front in a horizontal or tilt position.
Stainless Steel container/pack beds. Will not rust and are scratch resistant. Will not release particles into sterile environment.
Load capacity per shelf: 88 lbs.
Beds that have raised side and back walls to assure containers/trays will not fall while beds are loaded and unloaded.
Access to entire Container/Pack via 110% retractable extension slides.
Height: 75 in
Depth: 26 in

Upon delivery, the contractor/vendor agrees to work with facility personnel in order to:
Unbox and stage products
Unbox and assemble
Perform device in-service
Dispose of waste packaging
Register device warranty if required
